Who we are
Splendev Solutions Private Limited ("Splendev", "we", "us", "our") is a company incorporated in India, providing digital transformation, CCaaS implementation, managed services and custom software development.
This policy explains what personal data we handle when you visit our website, contact us, or receive support from us — and what you can do about it. It applies to www.splendev.net and to the support services we deliver directly to you.
Where we deliver services on behalf of a customer, that customer is the data controller (or, under Indian law, the Data Fiduciary) for their end-customer data, and we act as a processor under a separate agreement. This policy covers data we handle for our own purposes.

Data we collect
We only collect what we need to answer you and deliver our services.
You give us
- Contact details — name, company, work email, mobile number, job title.
- Message content — whatever you write in our contact support form, in emails, or in support tickets.
- SMS consent — whether you ticked the SMS opt-in box, plus the date, time and page where you did it.
- Contract and billing details — if you become a customer.
We collect automatically
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring site.
- Support metadata — ticket IDs, timestamps, and delivery status of messages we send you.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, biometric, financial account credentials, political or religious views) through this website, and we ask that you don't include it in a support message.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not build advertising profiles.
SMS and mobile data
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information collected for SMS is used solely to deliver the customer care messages you asked for, and is shared only with the messaging provider that transmits them on our behalf.
Specifically:
- Opt-in is explicit. You receive SMS from us only if you tick the unchecked consent box on our contact support form, or ask us to text you during a support interaction. The box is never pre-ticked.
- Consent is not a condition. You can use our services and get support without agreeing to SMS.
- Customer care only. Ticket confirmations, case status updates, and appointment or callback reminders. No marketing, no promotions.
- We keep a consent record. The number, the exact consent wording shown, the timestamp, and the page URL — so we can evidence your opt-in.
- Opt out any time. Reply STOP to any message. We stop immediately and flag the number as opted out.

Legal basis
We process personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and where the UK/EU GDPR applies to you, under that too. Our grounds are:
- Consent — for SMS messages and any optional communications.
- Contract — to deliver services you or your employer engaged us for.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to business enquiries, secure our systems, and run our business, where those interests aren't overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — where a law or regulator requires it.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.
Sharing
We share personal data only with parties who help us run the service, and only as far as they need it. Each is bound by contract to protect it and use it for no other purpose.
- Messaging provider — to transmit SMS you opted in to.
- Email and CRM providers — to receive and track your enquiry.
- Cloud hosting providers — to run our website and systems.
- Professional advisers — auditors and lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities — where legally compelled.
We never sell personal data. We never share mobile numbers or SMS consent for third-party marketing. If we're ever part of a merger or acquisition, we'll tell you before your data moves to a new controller.

When a retention period ends we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), access control on a least-privilege basis, logging, and vendor due diligence. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
No system is perfectly secure. Please don't send passwords, card numbers or government ID through our contact form.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:
- Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct — fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase — delete data we no longer have a reason to keep.
- Withdraw consent — including SMS, at any time.
- Object or restrict — where we rely on legitimate interests.
- Nominate — appoint someone to exercise your rights if you can't (DPDP Act).
- Complain — to us first, then to the Data Protection Board of India or your local supervisory authority.
Email privacy@splendev.net. We respond within 30 days and won't charge you for a reasonable request.
Cookies
This site uses only what it needs to function, plus optional analytics. Essential cookies keep the site working and can't be turned off. Analytics cookies tell us which pages get read; we set them only with your agreement and you can withdraw it in your browser settings at any time.
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
International transfers
We're based in India and use service providers that may store or process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer personal data across borders we rely on contractual protections such as Standard Contractual Clauses, and on the DPDP Act's transfer provisions. We only transfer to countries not restricted by the Central Government.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we don't direct any SMS programme at children. If you believe a child has given us data, email privacy@splendev.net and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, tell you by email or a notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
